• Accurate accounting.  This is the one of the most important areas of your practice or business.  You need to have a well thought out "chart of accounts" that allows you to compare your practice to standards in the industry.  Professionally prepared, compiled financial statements, from a general ledger (books) that you maintain and we review or for many clients we do a complete write up service including payroll, reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts along with a detail fixed asset ledger and suggested journal entries to reflect transactions and balances at the end of each month, quarter or year.
   
• "Audit proofing" you from tax audits. Audits are expensive and time consuming, but some times necessary.  With accurate accounting, you can be assured that all your income and expenses are accounted for.  Many tax cases that are lost are the result of poor and inaccurate records.  Accurate records, along with creative approaches to tax planning, provide you with the best way to document and plan a transaction so that, legally, you will pay the least amount of taxes.  Since you sign a return under the "penalty of perjury", you need to have the assurance that the return is done honestly while, at the same time, knowing that every possible legal deduction has been taken.
